Victoria Falls is a busy place in which something is always happening. During the day, helicopters circle above the Falls, this is the so-called Flight of Angels, where visitors can see the Victoria Falls from their lofty vantage point. There is also a lot of traffic on the roads and many people, locals and tourists alike, are out on the town. So if you prefer some peace and quiet, you can escape the hustle and bustle completely. There are a few options that we would like to offer you here.
This unique lodge is situated right on the edge of the Zambezi Gorge, about 20 km downstream from Victoria Falls. The scenery is spectacular, for each of the rooms has its own view into the depths of the gorge. Verreaux's eagles and Taita falcons nest in the walls of the gorge.

The Elephant Camp lies about 10 km from Victoria Falls below the Falls and on the edge of the Gorge that the Zambezi River sculpted into the basalt rock. Imbabala Zambezi Safari Lodge lies about 80 km upriver from the Victoria Falls on the bank of the Zambezi River.
