Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge

Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge is situated high up on the steep bank of the Save River with breathtaking views of the river and the beautiful, rugged landscape of Gonarezhou National Park on the far bank of the river. It is not rare to be able to watch hippos, crocodiles and elephant herds from the veranda of your room. All rooms are luxuriously appointed with en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee facilities and a private veranda. 

Guided game drives at Chilo start off with an adventure right at the beginning! At low water you ford the Save River in a 4x4 vehicle. When water levels are high, you cross the river by boat and then board your 4x4 game drive vehicle.
