Zambezi National Park

Zambezi National Park is a gem, both for lovers of beautiful landscapes and for avid game viewers. Driving along the river road, you will find new, fascinating views of the mighty Zambezi at every turn. In places the current has eaten, small, quiet backwaters out of the sandy bank, in other places the strong current races by. Certainly, the elephants and buffaloes are among the most impressive animals that you can see in the Park. But the elegant Sable antelope, as well as lions and leopards, also occur here, though they are only rarely seen. Huge, old Baobab trees adorn the riverbanks and there are several shady picnic sites to choose from.
